Things have gotten awfully busy for me lately, so not much time for photo editing and whatnot!
I have sooo many amazing photos from my trip that I haven't shared, so now's my chance. 

So enjoy some photos from my West Coast trip last summer! These were taken on one of the many beaches on the coast of Victoria, Vancouver Island.

SPRING!
Yes siree there are days where it truly feels like it (despite the barely green grass and leaf-less trees) and i can barely wait for hot sun and blooming flowers.
come quick, spring! come quick, summer!

spring jumble

Oh hello! 
GUESS WHAT?! 
There is no more snow on the ground! That is like, a huge deal for this city. (Some of these photos were taken a couple days ago, where you can still see some snow!) But we are currently snow-less and I feel that much closer to summer! Ah.

I took the first couple of photos (the ones without me in them) in my back yard. Twas a pretty evening, with droplets on the trees and sun through the branches, and of course wearing rubber boots made it that much better.
And as for the photos with me in them...notice anything?
I am wearing a new pair of glasses! Agh...but sorry to say I am returning them. :( These photos don't show it all too well, but they are awfully small on me! So I will find another I guess. (bought them online...hence the wrong sizing!)

Sometimes I get overwhelmed by the beauty I see all around me. That's really a huge part of why I have the passion for photography that I do, I want to capture this beauty, hold on to it. I am a very sentimental person, I never want to forget what moves me so deeply. 
It fills me so much to photograph these things. To see beauty in everything- where it's obvious, but especially where it's hidden. Because I believe there's beauty in everything, and to capture it with my camera is like nothing else. 

Well there you have my thoughts right now!
These are my babe friends Madi, Madi and Laura, by the way! (Yep, two Madi's...we call them Madi Squared) And thanks to them for also snapping some of me on our little adventure! We found a set of those fire escape stairs that was accessible all the way to the top of a building! I was super pumped. Fo sho going back there.
